Trustee Adam J. Ansanelli is serving in his first year as a Village Trustee, having been appointed in 2025 by Mayor Michael O’Neill to finish his term. He is presently serving on the Judiciary Committee, Building / Code Enforcement Committee, Administrative Committee, and the Audit Committee. He further serves as liaison to the Historical Society and Amityville School Board.
Trustee Adam J. Ansanelli is a lifelong resident of Amityville. He graduated from Chaminade High School in 2003, Fordham University in 2007, and Touro University Law School in 2011. Adam is the Managing Partner of the Law Offices of Adam J. Ansanelli, P.C., located in the Village of Amityville, where his practice focuses on Real Estate, Estate Planning, and Estate Administration. He has been recognized for his legal work in several publications, including Thomson Reuters “Super Lawyers” (2018-Present) and “Best Lawyers” (2023-Present), and is the recipient of a Certificate of Appreciation from the Southern Poverty Law Center for his pro bono work.
Trustee Ansanelli is passionate about our local waters and beaches, enjoying boating, hunting, fishing, and clamming, and dedicates his time to the annual Great South Bay cleanup hosted by the Great South Bay Society. He is also a member of Unqua Corinthian Yacht Club.
Adam is married to Julie, an attorney who practices in Manhattan, and together they have three young children. They are active volunteers at St. Martin of Tours School.
